China A-share seed and planting stocks surged: Kangnong Seed up >24%, Shennong Seed hit the 20% limit-up, Qiule Seed rose ~19%, and multiple names including Xinsai, Longping High-Tech, Nongfa Seed and Wanxiang Denong recorded limit-up moves. Bloomberg Agriculture Spot Index, tracking 10 major farm products, gained over 13% in August through last Friday and is poised for its biggest monthly rise since July 2012.
