A-share tax-refund stores sector jumped in early trade; Maoye Commercial rose
over 5%, with Baida Group, Nanning Department Store, Guangbai and Cuiwei also
higher. MOFCOM and six other ministries issued implementation opinions to expand
and upgrade goods consumption, targeting about 60 trillion yuan in total retail
sales of consumer goods by 2030 and calling for continued growth in
trillion-yuan categories such as autos, home appliances, communications
equipment and textiles/apparel.
