On Sept. 1, Nio founder Li Bin said on the company's Q2 2026 earnings call that
among Cedar models equipped with Nio’s in-house NX9031 chip, nearly 60% of users
now record more than 50% of daily mileage using intelligent driver-assistance.
Nio grants first owners a five-year free smart-driving subscription; used-car
buyers are offered subscriptions and current take-up among that group is about
20%. Li said that as the user base expands, smart-driving subscriptions will
become a significant revenue stream for Nio over time.
