China Mobile said it is accelerating deployment of network-native AI noise reduction, embedding AI algorithms into the core network to perform real-time noise identification, filtering and voice enhancement on the network side. Leveraging its compute-intelligence fusion technology, the system distinguishes human speech from vehicle and ambient noise, suppresses background noise and amplifies valid voice to resolve call blur, crosstalk and other noise issues. Nationwide commercial rollout is expected to phase in from Q4 2026.
