On Sept. 2 in Cairo, Egyptian President Sisi met with CHINA. CHINA said it supports building a new Middle East security architecture based on a common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security concept, that long-term stability depends on development, and that it is willing to work with regional countries to safeguard international shipping lanes, advance development cooperation, promote alignment of regional interests, and gradually build mutual trust to remove sources of conflict.
