Meta launched Muse Spark 1.3, saying the update materially improves coding and
agentic-task performance and is competitive with leading models, advancing its
push toward always-on personal AI assistants. Pricing is unchanged from the
prior version, which Meta described as an aggressive stance. The contributor
tier — which permits Meta to use developer work to improve models and
substantially reduce coding-product costs — has drawn a meaningful double-digit
share of developers. Meta said it is increasing investment in safety and
alignment as capabilities rise. Muse Spark 1.3 is available today via Muse Code
and the Meta API; a higher-inference build will be released after additional
safety testing.
