On the upside, SC crude oil jumped nearly 9%, ethylene glycol (EG) hit the daily limit-up, methanol and fuel oil rose over 4%, benzene and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) gained more than 3%, styrene (EB) was nearly 3% higher and container-shipping Europe-route futures climbed over 2%.
