Omdia director Park Jin-han said at the 2026 Omdia Korea Display Conference
that, given elevated memory prices, Apple will keep an LCD MacBook Pro on sale
through at least end-2027. He said Apple is unlikely to rapidly or fully switch
MacBook Pro displays to OLED, so ITOLED order volumes will be materially lower
than earlier forecasts as LCD and OLED panels ship in parallel. Omdia projects
OLED MacBook Pro demand at roughly 1m units this year and unlikely to exceed 4m
next year, insufficient to meaningfully separate from the LCD model.
