German police said on the 3rd an arson attack occurred in the early hours at a
construction site outside Rohde & Schwarz’s Munich headquarters. Two suspects
have been arrested and a criminal investigation opened. Bavarian state police
said the attack may have been directed at Rohde & Schwarz and investigators are
probing a possible political motive. Rohde & Schwarz confirmed the arson and
said it will provide further information later.
