G20 innovation ministers met in Chapel Hill, North Carolina on Sept. 1-2; technology and trade ministers from G20 members and guest countries attended. Trade discussions focused on intellectual property policy for AI innovation, coordination between AI and standards, industrial innovation and supply-chain investment.
