The second China-Cambodia public-private dialogue mechanism met in Phnom Penh on
the 3rd. Chinese ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wenbin said the mechanism should be
problem-oriented, prioritizing firm-level bottlenecks—labor permits, tax
collection and customs facilitation—and deepening cooperation in infrastructure,
advanced manufacturing, modern agriculture, the digital economy and new energy
to support Cambodia’s industrial diversification. Both sides said they will
continue to use the mechanism to align with corporate needs, accelerate
implementation of agreed measures and convert consensus into concrete
improvements in Cambodia’s business environment to advance higher-quality
China-Cambodia industry and investment cooperation.
