China's Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD) has opened
public consultation on one national standard and five industry standards. The
national draft: Technical requirements for portable pipeline detection equipment
(draft for comments). The five industry drafts: Seismic technical standard for
bottom-frame, seismic-wall masonry housing (revised draft for comments);
Technical standard for electrical and intelligent systems in urban drainage
engineering (revised draft for comments); Standard for preparation of urban
renewal plans (draft for comments); Construction safety inspection standard
(revised draft for comments); and Design standard for high-strength steel
structures (partial revision draft for comments). Deadline for feedback is Oct
8, 2026.
