NHSA Deputy Director Li Tao said on Aug 4 at a State Council Information Office briefing that the agency will continue annual adjustments to the basic medical insurance drug list and aim to add more eligible innovative drugs for cancer, chronic, rare and pediatric diseases to reimbursement. He said the NHSA will also push to unify reimbursement lists for medical service items and medical consumables nationwide to further narrow regional policy differences.
