Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said a Russian drone struck the Security Service
of Ukraine (SBU) headquarters in Kyiv on Friday, after Moscow carried out 10
consecutive days of strikes on the capital. Zelenskiy said he has ordered an
appropriate, practical response and may take a commensurate action when
preparations allow. Smoke rose over central Kyiv and the mayor reported at least
seven people wounded. Attacks on Ukrainian government buildings by drones and
missiles have been rare during the four-and-a-half-year war, marking a further
escalation of the conflict.
