Kioxia is promoting use of NAND flash to assume some server DRAM functions via a CXL memory-expansion module it says can double memory capacity and raise performance by 30%; these performance figures are from Kioxia's internal tests and lack independent verification. The company also plans to supply SSD samples in 2028 that can connect directly to NVIDIA GPUs.

A Beijing press briefing said the 2026 Equipment Manufacturing Development Conference (EMF2026) will take place Dec. 4–6 in Suzhou. The event is hosted by the China Machinery Industry Federation and co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Equipment Industry Development Center. The theme is Better equipment, a more beautiful world — Intelligent, Green, Integration. The conference aims to provide a full-chain platform connecting government, industry, academia, research, users and finance.
