Wuhan Municipal Housing and Urban Renewal Bureau and other departments issued a notice to further optimise local property policy, removing the city’s previous restriction that provident-fund withdrawals for repaying commercial mortgages on first-owner self-occupied homes be allowed only once every 12 months. Borrowers using only a personal housing commercial loan may apply after six months of normal repayments and then withdraw monthly, with cumulative withdrawals capped at the commercial loan amount.
