With typhoon impacts on land waning, southern weather will stabilise. Northern cold air has become active; as an upper-level trough shifts east, early next week the cold air will cross the Great Wall, bringing widespread rain and a sharp chill. China’s Central Meteorological Observatory forecasts that from tomorrow through the 9th light-to-moderate rain, locally heavy, will move west-to-east across central–eastern northwest China, North China and north–central Northeast China.
