Iran's Foreign Ministry condemned U.S. attacks on its vessels in the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman, calling the strikes war crimes and saying they threaten maritime navigation safety.

A White House official said on Saturday US and Russian officials discussed a "substantive" plan for next steps in negotiations to end Russia's military action in Ukraine, and that the plan will be announced in coming weeks. The official said Witkoff and Kushner met Putin to advance President Trump's peace agenda, with NSC, State and Treasury officials also participating, and that similarly productive talks are expected in Ukraine tomorrow.

Zelenskiy said Ukraine, starting with the call, is prepared to honor an agreement to halt air strikes on cities taking part in talks. He said Ukraine is ready to stop strikes on Moscow from now through the end of Saturday and on Sunday and Monday, and hopes Russia will reciprocate by halting strikes on Kyiv.
