Sept 6 — China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation said the Ministry of Finance will inject 10 bln yuan. The capital replenishment, to be implemented on market-oriented and rule-of-law principles, will top up the firm's core Tier-1 capital to strengthen risk-bearing and claims-paying capacity, expand export credit insurance coverage, bolster medium-to-long-term financial sustainability and cash-flow resilience, and support the insurer’s policy role in servicing the real economy.

Russian President Vladimir Putin met visiting US presidential envoy Witkoff and Jared Kushner at the Kremlin on the 5th to discuss the Ukraine situation. Attending for Russia were presidential aide Ushakov and Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund and presidential special representative for external economic and investment cooperation. US envoys arrived at Vnukovo by private plane at midday. The meeting was Putin’s eighth face-to-face with Witkoff and Kushner’s third participation in Ukraine mediation. Trump said US representatives would present a proposal during the Moscow visit; Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said "it is too early to discuss a new plan to resolve the Ukraine crisis." US envoys are expected to proceed to Kyiv after Moscow.
