Sept 6 — Indonesia’s National Disaster Management Agency said Anak Krakatau continued erupting and spreading volcanic ash. Jakarta’s Halim Perdanakusuma International, Lampung’s Raden Inten II, and Banten’s Budiarto and Pondok Cabe airports were temporarily closed. Local authorities will intensify ash monitoring and airspace coordination, deploy disaster-response teams to patrol coastal areas, and conduct cloud-seeding over Jakarta to accelerate ash fallout.

Omdia data show global XR headset shipments fell 38.7% YoY to 1.9 mln units in 1H 2026. Adoption of XR glasses is increasing, but their small market base was insufficient to offset the headsets’ decline.
