Dalian Commodity Exchange said it will cap single-day opening volume for
non-futures-company members or clients in iron ore futures at 5,000 lots per
contract, effective from the trading session on Sept. 9, 2026 (night session
beginning Sept. 8). Single-day opening volume is defined as the sum of buy and
sell opening transactions on a single contract in a day. Hedging and
market‑making opening volumes are exempt. Accounts with common actual control
will be treated as one account. The exchange said it may adjust the limits based
on market conditions.
