Jereh Group said in investor minutes dated Sept. 5 its preliminary assessment is that U.S. Executive Order 14420 has limited direct impact on current business. A $1.465bln gas-turbine contract signed in July has received an initial advance payment and is proceeding normally.

According to Nikkei, Japan’s Rice Stable Supply Support Organization said on Aug. 7 its August rice price-expectations index was 18, unchanged month-on-month. The group said the index remains near historic lows as weak household rice consumption has left inventories high and expectations for a larger new crop have risen.

Yushu Technology released a video claiming the world’s first real-time, world-model-driven fully autonomous humanoid robot combat demonstration. The system, UnifoLM-X2-1.0, is said to overcome bottlenecks in world-action large models for instantaneous planning, decision-making and dynamic interactive execution, enabling high-dynamic, strongly interactive real-time future prediction and planning to support autonomous humanoid fighting. Yushu says the demo validates the basic feasibility of large-scale deployment of world-model-driven humanoid robots.
