Canada's retaliatory tariffs on U.S. imports take effect Sep 8 local time,
Ottawa said. The measures target C$27.6 bln (~$20 bln) of U.S. goods, including
steel and aluminum, dairy, appliances and agricultural equipment. Ottawa says
the total value of affected U.S. goods matches the value of U.S. 50% tariffs on
Canadian goods, calling the move "equal, reciprocal" retaliation.
