The European Commission announced a partnership investment package of about €200m to fund projects in Greenland in 2026-27, targeting connectivity and infrastructure and cooperation on clean energy and critical raw materials. The EU said it would also boost support for housing, tourism, education and youth exchanges, and that funding to Greenland across the next multiannual budget cycle through 2034 would rise to about €530m. The announcement, made during the Commission president's visit to Greenland, reiterated EU support for Denmark and for Greenlanders deciding Greenland's future.
