據韓媒報道，韓國大幅增加了明年在能源技術（以核能爲中心）方面的研發支出，以保障人工智能數據中心的電力供應。 韓國科學技術信息通信部年度能源技術研發數據顯示，該部2027年的能源技術研發預算總額爲7336億韓元，比今年增長48%，創歷史新高。根據政府提案，核能研發預算也達到創紀錄的3864億韓元，比上年增長16.6%。其中，小型模塊化反應堆研究是七大種子項目之一，其預算激增55.7%，達到1275億韓元，成爲增長的主要動力。在七大項目中，另一項能源支柱——核聚變的研發投入比上年翻了一番多，達到2840億韓元。可再生能源研發投入則增長了64%，達到215億韓元。

At the 15th China Intellectual Property Annual Conference in Beijing on Sept. 8-9, the National Intellectual Property Administration said domestic active invention patents totalled 5.394 mln and active trademark registrations reached 50.816 mln. China ranked first globally in PCT international patent filings for a seventh consecutive year; filings under the Hague design system and the Madrid international trademark system were also among the world leaders.

Saudi energy ministry said on Sept. 8 that multiple energy and utility sites were attacked by Yemen’s Houthi rebels, triggering fires and temporarily disrupting operations at some facilities. The Saudi-led coalition said earlier the Houthis struck civilian and economic infrastructure in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Najran and Jizan, injuring 73 people, and vowed a firm response.
