Biren Technology (06082.HK) and Shanghai University have launched an Integrated Circuit Intelligent Chip Joint Laboratory. The lab will focus on AI-chip optical interconnects and new cooling technologies, jointly pursue national and local research funding, and build a sustained industry–academia–research–application innovation platform. The partners will also co-run engineering master’s and PhD cohorts and customized graduate classes to cultivate high-quality integrated-circuit talent.
