China's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and other agencies on
Sept 9 released 11 new occupations and 23 new job types and adjusted six
existing occupations, including agricultural product broker. New occupations
include ship shore-based management engineering technicians,
embodied-intelligence robot application technicians and sports data analysts;
new job types include community workers, low-altitude logistics operators and
retrofit designers for elder-friendly modifications. The release contains five
digital occupations and three green occupations, raising China's cumulative
totals to 113 digital occupations and 142 green occupations. Modern services
entries cited include sustainable development planner, airport airspace
inspection officer, intelligent agent developer, incense artisan, smart
furniture installer and fresh-cut flower processor. Since 2019 China has issued
eight batches totalling 121 new occupations.
