IRNA: Iran's central bank governor said subscriptions for the country's first foreign-exchange (FX) investment fund will begin next week. The fund is intended to attract FX resources and channel them into financing economic activity and FX-earning projects.

Bolivia’s central bank said it will sell dollars to financial institutions from Wednesday to stabilize the currency, which has depreciated more than 20% since the move to a flexible exchange rate on June 29. The bank said the measure aims to curb excessive FX volatility inconsistent with economic fundamentals but did not specify the sale rate. Bolivia holds about $1 billion in liquid reserves and expects nearly $2 billion in IMF lending over the coming years.
