Bidding opened in Tianjin today for China’s seventh nationally organized
centralized procurement of high‑value medical consumables, focused on
gastrointestinal (GI) interventional devices. Suppliers began submitting bids
from 07:30. The tender covers 23 items, including GI balloon dilation catheters;
esophageal, intestinal, biliary and pancreatic stents; GI guidewires;
stone‑retrieval baskets; cold‑ and hot‑snare devices; hemostatic clips; and
tissue dissection knives. First‑year demand is about 19.26 mln units and the
contract term runs to Dec. 31, 2029.
