China's first comprehensive inbound insurance product for foreign nationals was
launched in Beijing on the 10th, targeting short-term entrants and bundling
multiple protections in a single policy. Jointly underwritten by three insurers,
it removes prior age limits — insurable range is 28 days to 80 years — and
offers broader coverage than previous single-carrier products, addressing gaps
that left over-70s and some infants difficult to insure.
