At the 2026 Bund Conference main forum, Ant Group CEO Han Xinyi said merchants’ demand for AI-era growth is strong. Many merchants want to join an AI-agent economy but are still exploring how to convert their services into agent-callable capabilities, and supply and demand have not yet formed a virtuous cycle. He said Alipay's "Abao" will introduce a developer incentive policy to support creation of usable, high-quality agents and to provide incentive channels for users to express new demand.
