CSRC vice chairman Li Chao told a State Council press briefing that reforms
including deeper STAR Market and ChiNext reform and greater refinancing
flexibility have cut the average IPO review cycle on Shanghai and Shenzhen to
just over six months year-to-date; some high-quality firms have seen refinancing
approvals in under one month. He said the CSRC will push further to boost market
vitality, enhance institutional inclusiveness, and draw more long-term capital
into China’s capital markets to support growth of higher-quality productive
enterprises.
