Sept. 10 — At a State Council Information Office briefing, Vice Director Cong Lin of China’s Financial Regulatory Administration said the agency will push to optimize financial resource supply to the technology sector and refine policies to enable insurance funds to invest earlier, in smaller amounts, for longer terms and into hard technology. He said regulators will support new and future industries, expand manufacturing lending, and boost support for traditional firms’ transformation and upgrading to help build a modern industrial system.
