Ruipu Lanjun said the viral video relates to an incident at its Jiashan
facility. The company said the employee had voluntarily submitted a resignation
and requested immediate clearance; company procedures require time and the
parties disagreed on timing, after which the employee became emotional and acted
out. The matter was resolved the same day in the presence of local police; the
company has filed a police report and says claims it "restricted employees'
restroom use" are inconsistent with the facts. Ruipu Lanjun said it will further
improve employee communication channels and reinforce compliance management.
