Algeria has decided to sever diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates.

On Sept. 10 in Beijing the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) met with senior executives from more than 60 US multinationals operating in China — including Amazon Web Services, NVIDIA, Dell and Honeywell China — from cloud/compute, industrial energy and consumer-pharma sectors. NDRC bureaus outlined policy considerations in the 15th Five-Year Plan outline, foreign-investment policy for the 15th Plan period, and reported implementation outcomes of a new large-scale equipment-upgrade programme and consumer trade-in measures designed to boost consumption; officials also promoted Beijing’s economic and investment environment.

China A-share foldable-screen concept stocks tumbled; Yian Technology fell over 10%, with Jingyan Technology, Yashi Optoelectronics, Lens Technology, Laibao Hi‑Tech and Changxin Technology also declining.
