At a Sept. 10 State Council press briefing, CSRC vice-chair Li Chao said China’s capital market priorities under the 15th Five-Year Plan will focus on eight 'further' measures: further improve market institutional inclusiveness and adaptability; further strengthen market resilience; further enhance regulation and investor protection; further develop a multi-tiered capital market system; further raise listed-company quality and investment value; further accelerate building first-class investment banks and asset managers; further build safe, efficient financial market infrastructure; and further expand high-level opening to foreign markets.
