CSRC vice chairman Li Chao said at a State Council Information Office briefing the regulator has run three consecutive annual special campaigns against listed-company accounting fraud, probing 247 cases and imposing fines and confiscations totaling nearly 10 billion yuan. The CSRC has strengthened inter-ministerial and central-local coordination, set up a regular long-term anti-fraud enforcement mechanism, referred 134 suspected criminal cases to public security authorities and supported 84 civil lawsuits.

A-share military equipment sector advanced amid choppy trade; Dalian Heavy Industry hit the daily up-limit, Zhongya Star Anchor Chain rose over 7%, and Guorui Technology, China Power, Jianglong Boats and China Shipbuilding Defense also gained.
