BRICS finance ministers and central bank governors said they remain seriously concerned about unilateral trade and financial measures.

The Central Cyberspace Administration, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued the Digital Countryside High-Quality Development Action Plan (2026–2030). The plan prioritizes agricultural technology innovation and calls for an integrated basic-research-to-R&D-and-manufacturing innovation system. It seeks breakthroughs in agricultural sensors, dedicated chips, core algorithms, robotics and intelligent design/breeding tools. Measures include a high-quality agricultural machinery program to develop and deploy high‑precision intelligent farm equipment, establishment of quality inspection and testing systems for smart ag tech, coordinated R&D between digital/AI technologies and mechanization/agronomy, expanded trials of unmanned farm machinery, and guidance for qualified regions to set up digital-village technology innovation centers.
