At a Sept. 11 regular briefing, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said innovation is the key to China's long-term economic improvement and rising industrial competitiveness, and that more foreign firms are choosing to locate R&D and innovation in China to leverage its large market. She said China’s innovation does not seek monopoly and Beijing is willing to share innovation dividends with the world to support common development.
