Saudi civil defence said on the evening of the 12th that Tuwal district in Jazan
province was hit by an attack by Yemen’s Houthi militia, wounding two people and
damaging multiple buildings and some vehicles. The agency said the strike on
civilian targets violated international humanitarian law and was handled per
established procedures. The Houthi militia said Saudi warplanes carried out 129
airstrikes across seven Yemeni provinces in the past 48 hours and warned the
raids "will not go unanswered and unpunished."
