Sept 9-12 — CCPIT vice-chair Li Xingqian led a delegation to Russia to attend the 7th China‑Russia SME Industrial Forum under the China-Russia Friendship, Peace and Development Committee. About 800 Chinese and Russian participants attended; CCPIT organized a Chinese entrepreneurs’ delegation of more than 300. Delegates discussed cooperation in the digital economy, local-government cooperation, creative industries, tourism, e‑commerce and agriculture. A tropical depression in the South China Sea is forecast to bring heavy to torrential rain to Hainan from Sept 13–15; some small and medium rivers may experience floods above warning levels.
