Kobeissi reported U.S. household net worth rose $12.5 trillion in Q2 2026 to a record $185.7 trillion, the largest single-quarter increase on record. Net worth has increased for 11 consecutive quarters, up $43.4 trillion over that span and up $83.9 trillion since the COVID shock. The net worth-to-GDP ratio jumped 20 percentage points to 571%, just shy of the 574% peak in Q3 2021. Kobeissi said asset holders have been the primary beneficiaries and warned those without assets risk being left behind.
