TrendForce’s latest memory-industry research says the NOR Flash market is undergoing its most significant supply-demand shift in a decade. With AI consuming the bulk of production capacity and upgraded demand for high-end applications limiting suppliers’ NOR Flash bit-output growth, TrendForce estimates the market will remain imbalanced into H2 2026, keeping contract prices elevated and risking up to a doubling in prices for high-capacity products.

He said most industries lack formal settlement rules and some large firms exploit loopholes to delay payments by blurring payment terms. The notice clarifies how SMEs can obtain outstanding balances and directs industry leaders to publish and honor a 60-day payment commitment to encourage timely payments across supply chains.
