PBOC: Broad money (M2) stood at 356.81 tln yuan at end-Aug, up 7.5% YoY. Narrow money (M1) was 115.77 tln yuan, up 4.1% YoY. Currency in circulation (M0) was 14.83 tln yuan, up 11.2% YoY. Net cash injection in the first eight months totaled 736.4 bln yuan.

Total turnover on the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets on Sept 14 was 1,629.18 bln yuan, down 342.72 bln yuan from the prior session. Shanghai turnover was 779.28 bln yuan (prev. 958.19 bln), volume 459 mln lots (prev. 579 mln). Shenzhen turnover was 849.89 bln yuan (prev. 1,013.71 bln), volume 509 mln lots (prev. 636 mln). Zhongji Xuchuang led single-stock turnover at 23.94 bln yuan, followed by Xinyisheng 13.04 bln, Fenghua High‑Tech 12.85 bln, China Jushi 11.16 bln and Dongshan Precision 10.50 bln.
