BofA equity strategist Savita Subramanian raised her year‑end S&P 500 target to
7,400 from 7,100, while warning the index remains vulnerable to interest‑rate
risk. The new target is about 3.4% below last Friday’s close. In a survey of
more than 20 strategists’ year‑end 2026 forecasts, her call remains among the
most bearish on Wall Street. She expects the S&P 500 to reach 7,800 over the
next 12 months, roughly 2% above the recent close, and said markets are entering
a seasonally weak period, with a pullback that she views as overdue.
