After Trump said Ukraine and Russia had agreed not to strike each other’s energy
targets, Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said on Monday Ukraine would be willing
to stop strikes on Russia if partners can ensure Russia will not attack
Ukrainian energy facilities, infrastructure and grain supply routes. Zelenskiy
said Ukraine does not trust Russia to honour such an agreement and urged
partners to provide concrete arrangements, saying de‑escalating attacks on
critical infrastructure could be a first step toward peace.
