BofA (BAC.N) CEO Moynihan said sharply higher interest rates would slow some financing demand.

South Korea’s KOSPI slipped on Tuesday for a fourth straight session, closing at its weakest level since Sept. 3 as rising government bond yields and oil prices eroded dip-buying. Markets have grown more sensitive to downside risks ahead of a Federal Reserve policy meeting later this week that could lift rates. Finance minister nominee Lee Hyoung-il told a parliamentary hearing authorities will closely monitor the bond market and, if necessary, deploy measures to stabilize it.

IAEA Director General Grossi said the agency has again reached out to Iran and is willing to cooperate to clarify questions about Iran's nuclear program. He told Tehran that if the IAEA resumes on-site work it will take Iran's security concerns into account.
