China's Fu, a spokesman for the National Bureau of Statistics, said investment
tied to the Six Networks — internet and related services — rose 42% YoY in the
first eight months. Investment in air transport, water transport and power
supply rose 16.7%, 14.7% and 12.7% respectively. NBS data show that by end-June
China had completed more than 70 compute-power corridors around computing hubs.
Fu said that, as the opening year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, major projects
including the Six Networks, cross-regional transport arteries, major energy and
water works, new infrastructure and urban renewal are underway and are expected
to further support high-quality growth.
