Liupanshui city discipline inspection website on Sept 15 reported Chen Ting, deputy general manager of the financial markets department at Moutai (Shanghai) Financing Leasing Co., is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law and is under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation by the Guizhou provincial discipline inspection and supervision team stationed at Kweichow Moutai and by the Zhongshan district discipline and supervisory commission.

The Financial Times reports the UK, Japan and Turkey are seeking agreement to bring their car industries under the EU's "Made in Europe" rules. The EU proposal would target public procurement and subsidies for electric vehicles and clean-energy technologies toward products manufactured in Europe and would require cars to be assembled inside the EU to qualify for support.
