China A-shares closed lower: Shanghai Composite -0.54%, Shenzhen Composite Index -0.72%, ChiNext Index -1.15%; STAR 50 Index +1.55%. Combined turnover on Shanghai and Shenzhen was CNY1.61 trillion, a YTD low, down CNY16.5 billion vs. the prior session. Over 4,300 stocks fell. Wind-turbine equipment led gains, with Dajin Heavy Industry hitting the daily limit. PCB names strengthened — Aohong Electronics marked a third straight limit-up — and MLCC theme was active as Shuangxing New Materials notch

Ukraine's foreign minister said Kyiv is willing to reach an energy-sector ceasefire with Russia and that international partners have been informed, with some friendly countries proposing steps to help implement an agreement. President Zelenskiy said he is open to an energy ceasefire and plans to raise the issue with US President Trump in New York on Sept. 21-23.
